I have two files of traced ancestry back into published records of ancient Irish history. You will not find them on Ancestry.com or the internet. These are from work done by individuals that I have had as students in a genealogy class. Be glad to share as you can use as a guide for your own.

Next step for me would be to Google everything and see where they fall into place: Timogue, Ireland; County Laois/Leix, St George's Church, Timogue, Ireland and so forth

If you would like, I can put you in touch with this tree's owner who has lots of oral information and has just emailed me to say: Hi  Dee.  This is interesting.  My father’s first half cousin,  Regina Scully Bloom married a Purcell in Poukeepsie, NY.  Her mother was Teresa Scully, Wife of Louis Bloom a RR detective on the Erie Lakawana line and later went as official at Sing Sing.  Teresa inherited all the Scully memorabilia and papers of John Henry Scully my great grandfather and her grandfather.  We lost touch with them following Aunt Teresa’s death in St. Petersburg, FL and burial somewhere in NY.  She had three children two sons and a daughter. SOund familiar?
