Wanderlust. . . . It’s part of the Irish experience. Maybe it’s even in the DNA.
But from the voyages of St. Brendan, through the exile of the earls, to the many waves of emigration, up to today’s globetrotting expats and tourists, the penchant for the Irish to want to see the world beyond is well known. Heck, Van Morrison even wrote song about it.
With that in mind, we begin.
The Wild Geese Global Irish Travel group aims to provide a vehicle for members to share their wisdom and experiences by posting destination articles, reviews, and travel tips. In time, with the cooperation of industry partners, we envision setting up tours and discounts to Ireland and/or other sites of Irish interest.
So, if you’re the kind of Irish man or woman who’s always got a bag packed for the next adventure, come join us! The boarding gate is open.

Have any members seen packages being advertised that would bring visitors to Dublin for the commemoration of the Rising? I would think there would be some but I haven't seen any.
