Just wanted to welcome Mike Campbell to the ranks of The Wild Geese social network. Mike is a superb graphics designer and animator, responsible for the animation at the heart of The Wild Geese crowdfunding appeal. http://youtu.be/E_fNrbS0VDc He also created our production logo we place in front of our videos.
I find the name Campbell an interesting one, with antecedents in both Ireland and Scotland, according to Wikipedia. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campbell_(surname). The article cited here states:
The most common Irish derivation is from the surname Mac Cathmhaoil. Descendents of a famous war-leader named Cathmhaoil took the surname, and was often pronounced as "Cammle". This coincidentally was the same pronunciation as the Scottish surname "Campbell". From this Irish surname, a number of derivations were arrived including MacCawill, McCaul, MacCall, Caulfield, and of course Campbell.[3]
