How is this for serendipity? I knew that " The Gathering" is taking place all across Ireland this year, but I only found out after I had decided to go that the week I am there is the week that Ballina and Attymass are holding their celebrations, I am looking forward to going home even more! Is anyone out there a native of Mayo/ in particular Ballina?

That's quite a stroke of luck, Sheila.  That will be an extra special time for you to be there.  Be sure to post here in-detail about your experience that week. :-)

I will indeed Ryan, thanks..

Reach out to fellow member Jim Curley, Sheila, using either the search field on the site or the Members link in the 'nav bar' below our logo. And search on the site using the word Mayo and see who else might pop up. When will you be in Mayo?

Ger

Hello Ger, thanks for that, I will do.. I will be in Mayo, (Ballina) from the 2nd to the 9th of August and I am really looking forward to it, I hope to catch up with members of my family still in Ballina and visit a few places whilst I am there.
