A couple things on this:

  1. I'd be interested on reading about how many "prophesies" Colm Cille swung & missed on.  Anyone can make a few hundred or even thousands of predictions and have some of them come to pass.  That's called the law of averages.
  2. Notice how general most of these predictions are.  Biblical prophecy, for example, was almost without exception very specific ... even down to dates, names, specific locations, order of events, etc.  Detailed stuff.  Most of the stuff above is stuff that has been happening since the dawn of time.

So, colour me a non-believer in fellows like Colm Cille and Nostradamus.  The hugely general nature of the things they've gotten right and the huge body of predictions which haven't been accurate is all the evidence I need.
