Yesterday we met Eamon Gilmore TD {former Tanaiste or Deputy Prime Minister } to discuss the story of Patrick Sarsfield Gilmore and his contribution to America . The delegation included myself Jarlath MacNamara , Turtle Bunbury { Author , Broadcaster and Historian } and Pat Gilmore {Vinters Association of Ireland and Ballygar Resident }. Mr Gilmore TD expressed his support for the project and his belief that the story would have implications on how we look at our emigrants . He has already brought the story to the attention of Ambassador Anderson , Irish Ambassador to USA in Washington DC. . And so the story continues to develop .
