There's a new book about the division in American public opinion about the proper U.S. role in world affairs as war waged in Europe and Asia, in the nearly three years prior to Pearl Harbor. The title is "Those Angry Days: Those Angry Days: Roosevelt, Lindbergh, and America's Fight Over World War II, 1939-1941" by Lynne Olsen, http://www.amazon.com/Those-Angry-Days-Roosevelt-Lindbergh/dp/14000...
I find that period fascinating for many reasons, when I consider Irish America as well as Ireland. What do you guys recall hearing from your own parents and grandparents about this period in our nations' histories?
