RAISE the highest prices and lower the other ones. It makes no sense for TDF to offer a $50- discounted seat at the Beaumont Theatre based on the highest price-point. Before we lose faithful audiences, as we are for deacades, WE must radicalize non-profit Arts prices. Whenever a maintenance worker, food delivery, or laundry person enters my studio apt, THEY all notice when classical music is playing. And MENTION that THEY are enjoying it. I doubt few of these workers have ever heard a symphony live at NJPAC or elsewhere. EVERY NJSymphony concert has had a closed Balcony at NJPAC for decades. WHY ???
