My great uncle John Dunwoody was a member of the 16th Irish division when he lost his young life to a Bavarian regiment gas attack in April 1916 I have managed to locate his grave at Margincourt France which I plan to visit in September this year, however I have no information relating to his age when he died, is anyone able to help me source Johns Date of birth over age when he died. Incidentally the 16th were an Irish division and my Great uncle was an Ulsterman so these Irishmen were united in death with no longer any discrimination between them
Thanks
Martin J Dunwoody.
