Event Description

On Thursday, March 13th at 5:00 p.m. Eastern (U.S.) Time, join us here in The Wild Geese Virtual Síbín for an event that is perfectly suited to any síbín -- a whiskey tasting!  A síbín (pronounced SHE-been) is a term for an unlicensed drinking establishment, especially in Ireland, Scotland, and South Africa.  Have no fear ... there are no licensing laws being broken in our little virtual poitín hut.

While whiskey will take center stage, this tasting will not be limited to just whiskey.  Our panelists will be sampling all five spirits from Castle Brands' Irish to the Core collection (pictured above).  Danny Fagan from Castle Brands will be joining us in The Virtual Síbín to walk our tasters through each beverage and describe the ins and outs thereof.

Our live broadcasts from The Wild Geese Virtual Síbín give us all an opportunity to interact and learn from some of the "movers and shakers" in the worldwide Irish community.  We always encourage our members to use the live chat function here on the site to submit questions, comments, and requests during our live hangouts in The Virtual Síbín.

I shall do my very best to stay awake for this event tonight! Absolutely delighted to 'find' video recordings of past Sibin events, which I will need to watch over time.
