Event Description

Senator George Mitchell will speak on the fifteenth anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. Admission is free, thanks to the generous sponsorship of many Irish-American organizations and Bank of New New York Mellon. Because we only have room for 900, we are issuing tickets. In a second and distinct part of the evening a panel of members of congress who have supported the peace process in Ireland will discuss the GFA and issues relating to implementing its promises. You can register online and print out tickets at https://www.research.net/s/Z2ZTF9J. If you find you cannot use a ticket, please give it to someone who can. If your organization would like to be a sponsor of the event, please let me know. Many events are taking place in Ireland on this historic day. CSPAN is covering the event. Please come out and show the Irish that we in America still support them in their quest to reunite their country through peaceful, democratic means.
