Join us this Wednesday (April 2) for a LIVE Community Chat with John McAuliff of Cuba/US People to People Partnership. John and his organization are undertaking two exceptional journeys to explore the Irish diaspora's legacy, along with deepening the links of Irish traditional music and dance with Cuban Celtic and Latin culture.
April 21-27, travel with world champion dancer and accomplished musician Niall O'Leary. Join CeltFest 5 with Irish musicians and Asturian and Galician bandas de gaitas. (information here)
November 15-23, travel with New York University professor, singer and producer Mick Moloney plus fiddler Athena Tergis, button accordionist Billy McComiskey and dancer Niall O'Leary. Engage with Cuban cultural counterparts. (information here)
As always, the live chat will be conducted in the Main Chat Room here at TheWildGeese.com. The chat will begin at 4:00 p.m. Eastern (U.S.) Time. Please join us and bring along your questions for John relating to the influence of the Irish in Cuba, and any queries about their fantastic tours.
John has started a members' group here on The Wild Geese called Irish and Celtic Cuba, so head over and join that if the theme of the Irish influence in Cuba piques your interest.
We hope you can join us this Wednesday for the chat!
