Join us this Friday (June 6, 2014) at 6:00 p.m. Eastern (U.S.) Time for a LIVE Wild Geese Community Chat with author James Francis Smith. As always, the chat will be conducted in real-time in the Main Chat Room here at TheWildGeese.com. These chats are always an enjoyable time for members of The Wild Geese community to interact on a personal level with interesting people who are actively engaged in promoting the epic history and heritage of the Irish.
James is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (U.S.A.). After a successful career in industry and finance, he returned to his first love -- historical novels. In documenting the series he titled "The Irish-American Story," Jim created a resource for preserving the history of Irish accomplishments and contributions to American Society. Smith’s novels chronicle the lives, loves, and wars of people and events that have often been overlooked by history.
As an added treat, James is making three copies of his newly published "Irish in the American Revolution" available to us as gifts for members of The Wild Geese. We'll randomly draw the names of three members who participate in the chat with James to determine the winners of the books. Our thanks to James for his generosity.
