The Blessing and Unveiling of the Archbishop John Hughes Memorial by Cardinal Timothy Dolan will take place on Sunday November 22, 2015 at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral. There will be Vespers in the Cathedral at 3:00 PM, prior to the unveiling of the Hughes Monument and a reception immediately afterwards. We will memorialize the many contributions of the remarkable Visionary and Leader that Archbishop Hughes was. Further Details will follow. Rowan Gillespie, the renowned sculptor, is well under way with constructing the monument.
The Committee’s Chairman is Bill Duggan from the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Morris County, NJ.
