Céad míle fáilte! Welcome to The Wild Geese Community. Have look around at all we have to offer and join a few groups that interest you. You can also share your Irish story with your new friends here by posting a blog. Share an article, picture, or video related to your ancestry, expertise, or experiences in the global Irish community any time you like. We'll feature and promote the best content. Our community can only exist with contributions by our members, so post-away! I'm looking forward to interacting with you as you enjoy your Wild Geese experience.
Go raibh míle maith agat. Thank you for your message. I am an artist, and I have a blog called Scéalta Ealaíne. Basically it's stories about the Irish art scene and other musings about art (sometimes in Irish but more often in English) but I was very interested to connect with the Wild Geese Community because I'm working on a body of artwork about Irish Emigration. More specifically, I have been painting old empty fireplaces in abandoned houses in Co Donegal. ( see here for example: http://emacl.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/see-the-northern-lights-in-co... ) Anyway, it's nice to make contact with you and I look forward to hearing more, slán go fóill, eoin
