a belated céad míle fáilte, Fran. My father's birthplace was Richmond Hill and I spent many a childhood summer in Toronto, Barrie, Petersborough, Ottawa and the sort. I look forward to getting to know you. I will check ouyt your FB page this evening at home
Thank you Fran, I have also clicked on the link to accept you as a friend - sent on your second email. Hope you get it. All this is very new to me so please allow for the odd mistake.
Many Thanks to The Wild Geese for the the opportunity to promote The Ireland Canada Monument project to supporters of The Wild Geese worldwide. The Monument Society based in Vancouver Canada with members in Vancouver and Ireland conveys a warm Thank You to everyone at The Wild Geese for this kind invitation. Go raibh míle maith agaibh le gach duine. !
I'm 4th generation Irish and had my first chance last year to visit and it was love at first sight! Visiting there just opened my heart and soul to all the Irish in me! It's filled me and I can't wait to go back again :)
OK on the photo. I didn't want to frighten anyone off this great web page. My appointment with the plastic surgeon is Tuesday, week. So, watch this space for a handsome young man at the prime of his life.
Gerry and I got acquainted via phone yesterday, and I asked him about an opportunity to speak to you also. Let me know if and when that might be convenient for you.
I am the Marketing and Sales Manager at Four Courts Press (www.fourcourtspress.ie). We are a small independent Irish publishing house which published some 50 books each year (Celtic and Medieval Studies, and then into Modern History, Art, Literature and Law). We do a huge amount of local history, Irish history, European history and we have over 1800 books in print so we are kept pretty busy.
Thank you, Fran, for the Wild Geese welcome! I believe we already know each other ... www.facebook.com/irelandandpegscottage :-) Excellent facility here, fair play to ye. (M) <3
Thanks very much, Fran. My interest is in the various designs and architectural materials that were used to build Irish Thatched Cottages, their use in helping support members who rented them, and why animals were apart of the buildings, as I have researched so far.
Again, thank you so much for reaching out, and may you and your family have a very Happy New Year.

The best contact for CeltFest is Killian Kennedy in Ireland. http://www.celtfestcuba.org/
Culture Ireland did not fund participants in 2014 so Irish (and Canadian Irish} participation was minimal.

If you go to your 'My Page' link and from there, you would hover over the 'Blogs' heading and click on 'Add a Blog' and just type away!
