Friends of Kylemore Abbey

In the early 1970s, I knew nothing about Kylemore and nearly drove off the road when I saw it on my way to Clifden, Such a beautiful building on a gorgeous site. Spent about an hour there last time I visited Ireland, would like to have spent more.

Beautiful site, especially the gardens.  There's a fascinating story behind it as well.  Most importantly...the apple pie...scrumptious!
