Wondering if your Burke clan may have originated in Co Limerick or Tipperary? My Bourkes were married in Murroe, Co Limerick, but their children were baptised in Upperchurch, Co Tipperary.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if Knockainy is in the Parish of Abington, Co Limerick? My 4x great grandmother Mary Bourke was from Abington, she married James Bourke in 1838 at the Church in Murroe, The Holy Rosary.  James Bourke was born in 1813.

According to my records, my g-g grandfather, Francis Noonan Burke, was baptized in the parish of Knockainy in Co. Limerick.  Unfortunately, the record does not give the name of the parish.
