Hello. I'm looking for information about my great, great Irish grandfather. I'm doing a family genealogy and need any information about Edward Felvey or Edward Feloney before or after his arrival in the U.S., during his serving in the Virginia Infantry, 25th Battalion, Co. E.. He was a sergeant and a bugler. He apparently changed his Irish name of Edward Feloney (born around 1815 to Edward Felvey after he moved to America. He was so very proud of having served in the Confederacy that he requested the family bury him with his Confederate war boots on. Thank you for any help.
