Céad míle fáilte, a chara! We look forward to learning your Irish story and enjoying your contributions
Thanks people Im a third generation Irish descendant, my ggrandfather come down to Argentina back in 1848 from Liverpool and settled as a farmer in a land we still own and farm today :)
Terry... do you know where in Ireland your GGrandfather called home originally?
Unfortunately not, all we know, so far, is that He was named John Mac Mahon, son of John Mac Mahon as well and He was married to a Sophie (AKA Leticia) Fahy or Fahey, Daughter of Eugene, all of them born in Ireland, And that they depart from Liverpool as we have the shipping maniphest. From then on we know most of the story but we still need to trace them up the tree !!!
