No, Melanie, I don't know anyone in Youngstown, but I remember the mayor in recent history was a real working-class guy, bootstrapped I think to his post, and the city votes heavily Democratic. A college chum lives in Hudson. Goodyear Rubber has (had) a plant there, no?
Yes the city is Democratic, maybe you are thinking of our former congressman Jim Traficant? He was pretty famous in his heyday. I believe the Goodyear Rubber is in Akron.
