Jane Lyons' 'From Ireland': A Lifelong Labour of Love

For any of you who are researching their family history in Ireland, you might want to take a look at: http://www.from-ireland.net

My friend Dr. Jane Lyons has spent countless hours, days, months, years...decades even, photographing and transcribing whole cemeteries, trade & city directories, public records, etc.

Though I tell her she should ask even a small subscription fee, she still continues to offer everything gratis. Her only income, pennies really, comes from anyone clicking on the ads along the sidebar.

She also has a wonderful blog: http://www.from-ireland.net/blog/

Stop in and have a look around...You will be surprised by the offerings.

So happy to see this.  from Ireland is such a wonderful resource whether you are just starting out, or need to check what you already have--not to mention the just interesting bits.
