The Historia project is concerned with devotion to Irish saints in the medieval liturgy. Tomorrow, June 9, is the Feast of St Columcille (Columba) of Derry and Iona, so it is seems an auspicious time to begin this blog.We are fortunate that one manuscript survives, from the 14th century, containing the music for Columcille's office.
