Irish Heritage Front Stage in Syracuse

A unique celebration of Irish culture in central New York state drew close to 300 individuals to Syracuse for an event that spanned 5 hours and three venues. The centerpiece was a screening of the Atom Films' documentary "The Irish Pub" at Syracuse's historic Landmark Theatre. More than a dozen sponsors and media partners supported the effort, including The Wild Geese in Syracuse, Guinness, The Irish American Heritage Museum (Albany) and The Wild Geese Irish Heritage Partners Heritage Hurleys and Tailten Games. Pictured here, left to right, are event organizer Belinda Evangelista, Gerry Regan and Terry O'Hara, all proud members of The Wild Geese. Not pictured is member and event co-coordinator Maryann Tracy.
