The first Bit comes from Danny... another rescue in Sligo:
It's Danny the AHAR vet here. Just an update on the Sligo Rescue.
We have 23 a mixture of young colts and fillies. We are in the process of passporting these individuals worming and vaccinating them against flu and tetanus.
There are some sick ones who are receiving appropriate medicines, and about 10 very malnourished ones who will need intensive feeding for at least 8 weeks.
The colts will all be gelded in the spring then we shall be looking for homes for them.
It is a great credit to all of you donors to fund the work that AHAR does. Please continue to help out Suzanne as she struggles with vet, feed labour and mortgage costs.
