SUMMARY:MEMORY LANDSCAPE STORY
DESCRIPTION:Galway author and storyteller Rab Fulton will be teaching 
 a six week online course on MEMORY LANDSCAPE STORY.\nThe course builds
  on the teaching techniques Rab has developed over the last five years
  of teaching storytelling in NUI Galway, and also on his decades of ex
 perience as a writer and storyteller.\nOver the six weeks participants
  will examine folklore, landscape in folklore, the landscape around us
 , the landscape of our memories, and the folkloric elements that can b
 e found in memory. Using this new appreciation of landscape and memor
 y participant will then create their own wonder tales. The course also
  aims to develop people’s awareness of the importance of memory and 
 landscape for individual and societal wellbeing and creativity.\nThe w
 orkshops begin on Saturday 19th June at 7.30 Irish Standard Time. The 
 cost is 100 euro or 75 euro discount. Each workshop will run for ninet
