DESCRIPTION:Easter Monday, April 1  Noon\n Easter Monday has a speci
 al place in Irish history.  The men and women who faced the mightiest
  army in the world in 1916 in the Easter Rising will be remembered at 
 the Easter Monday Memorial on this day.  The Monument is behind the S
 upreme Court Building in Mineola.  There will be talks, pipers, a bug
 ler and the laying of a wreath at the Monument to honor those who foug
 ht for Ireland’s freedom in 1916.  The ceremony is brief and dignif
 ied, well worth attending.  Sponsored by the Easter Monday Memorial C

 �As can be expected, the Irish Cultural Society's musical guest at t
 his meeting, Andy Cooney, will have had a busy month of March.   An
 dy Cooney had an eighteen show “Forever Irish” tour last month, 
 the closest venue being Kellenberg High School, in Uniondale, LI.  Th
 e Darrah Carr Dance group has joined Andy’s tour.  Andy is still to
 uring with Donald Rodriguez and Michael Amante as the New York Tenors.
   Andy’s popularity has led the New York Times to call him “Irish
