DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 6:00 PM the Brehon Law Soc
 iety of Nassau County is having a dinner meeting at the Wantagh Inn lo
 cated at 3264 Railroad Avenue in Wantagh New York 11793 (beneath the W
 antagh station on Babylon line of the Long Island Rail Road).\nWe are 
 honored to have as a guest lecturer Professor Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, a
  Fulbright Scholar from Harvard, who will discuss the Learned Families
  of Brehon Lawyers in Ireland c.1200 to 1600 AD. She will also describ
 e an effort to reunite sundered parts of a sixteenth century brehon bo
 ok currently housed in separate museums and libraries. Please bring $5
 0 to cover the cost of dinner, which is a buffet with beer (including 
 Guinness and Harp), wine and soda. ($35 for law students and any siste
 rs or brothers between jobs). The Wantagh Inn, incidentally, is a fine
  Irish restaurant with a great bar.   We also must discuss several oth
 er important dates, including an historic event at the Cooper Union on
  May 23, 2013 with Senator George Mitchell commemorating the 15th anni
 versary of the Good Friday Agreement. We are also holding a fundraiser
  on June 20, 2013 with Molloy College to rebuild the Point Breezy Fire
 house which was wrecked by Hurricane Sandy. The Famine Tribunal will b
 e held at Fordham Law on April 20 and 21. The Suffolk Brehons have the
 ir dinner on April 18 at the Irish Coffee Pub.\n Please call me to RSV
