Ryan, that would be my dad's people. My maiden name was Feeney. I do not know exactly what town, but I know they were cobblers through the famine years...and I have a priest friend who knew a brother and sister that were still in the area named Feeney.
I know of several Feeneys in and around Galway City. Don't know where the largest concentration of Feeneys originated, though. Anyhow, welcome aboard! If you're interested in ancestry / genealogy, Mary, be sure to join our new members group with that focus.
