Where would we who must keep current on things Irish be without The Wild Geese?  Gerry and Joe, founding fathers, have given to us all the gifts of Irish history, Irish culture, and Irish contemporary life.  They invite us to go to Ireland, to listen to Irish music, to eat the food, to celebrate the festivals, to read the books -- in short, to keep our Irish alive. Thank you, Wild Geese, for bringing Margaret Johnson, John A. Brennan, Mary Thorpe, Jim Hawkins and so many more writers to our screens to help us to remember how great is our Irish heritage. Gerry and Joe, you are our teachers whom we trust and admire. Happy 20th Anniversary!

The Wildgeese should be likened to a modern day global University aloft in the ether and we its eager pupils. It's our present day version of the ancient tradition of spreading the knowledge and keeping the spirit of the Tuatha alive. Hats off to the visionaries who dreamt it first and then went on to realize the dream.

Go raibh maith agaibh, Val, Jean and John. It means a great deal to Joe and I and Fran and Linda and others who often work behind the scenes to see such splendid use being made of our collective labors.

Congratulations Gerry, Joe and staff on your 20th anniversary! You are doing a terrific job of keeping those in the Irish-American community informed on Irish issues and history, past and present. John Brennan said it best, " a global university." Continued success in your future endeavors!!
