This would be so amazing! I rode horses for 10 years and my dream is to ride on a beach in Ireland! :)

We seek out B&Bs when we travel, especially when it is convenient and if we like what we read about them. We prefer them to hotels, whether in Ireland or anywhere.

It's great to hear that you enjoy staying in B&Bs when you travel to Ireland Gerry. I hope that you enter our Farm Stay competition. Good luck!

Hi Fran, riding a horse on an Irish beach is a must-do experience. There is nothing quite like it. Certain farms may offer horse-riding, but if not, they'll be stables nearby that offer treks out with qualified instructors to suit all levels. I love horse-riding and Ireland is the perfect destination for outdoor sports. Hope you enter our competition and best of luck.

I smiled as I read this, as it recalls a memorable interaction with one of my clients. They were adamant that they wanted a "Farm Stay". I explained that a farm stay would be on a working farm with all of the sounds, smells, etc associated with farm life. They insisted that was what they wanted and so I booked them in for two nights at a farm stay B&B. I am always available to my clients during their travels, via phone or email. I am also available to the B&B hosts, as well.
The host called to share their amusement and advise me that my clients had opted to find a B&B in town. It would seem that my clients were horrified to find chickens, sheep and cows during their welcome tour. Neither I nor the host ever quite ascertained what it was they had expected. In their survey afterwards, they did indicate that the "farm stay was too real for their comfort"

Hi Bit, great that you got your clients sorted though and they had a good holiday, alas without the farm holiday experience! With a B&B Ireland Farm Stay B&B break it's up to the guest how much they want to be involved in the farm stay experience. They can just relax and enjoy the comforts of the farmhouse, delicious home-cooking, countryside walks, the local pub where they can enjoy some music and have a chat with the locals. It's just a great get away from it all break.

We stayed in all great B&bBs in Ireland but the Farm B&B in Cashel was by far the best!

Delighted you to hear that you enjoyed your stay in one of our Famhouse B&Bs when you visited Ireland Virginia. Best of luck in our competition.
