My Irish heritage can be found in the soils of Belfast, Tipperary, Roscommon on my Maternal great-great-grandparents.  All but one of my great-grandparents was born in the United States.  Ironically my last name comes from my mostly Polish father's side...My paternal great-great-grandfather was from Ireland.  I am descended from O'Neill's, Gowdy's, Crogan's, Dougherty's, Downing's, Pfife's, Scanlon's, McDermott's and Condon's so far!  Yearly, the descendants of my maternal grandfather, Thomas F Gowdy get together. We refer to ourselves as the "Gowdy Girls, For Sure For Sure".  Tee-shirts do exist and women and men alike wear them proudly!!

Hello there Erin!

Greetings from cold and snowy NH. I'm from Co Kerry and the forecast for Yuletide over there is extremely cold with heavy snows.
