Tell us more about this remarkable photo, Don, especially the farmer and how you came by this striking image.

Hi Gerry, Larry Dooley farms the land on which the photo was taken. The Dooleys have farmed in Good Intent for several generations. In the Good Intent area there are numerous Irish family descendants that still farm the land their ancestors settled. On the evening this photo was taken we were under a tornado warning, which created the low clouds. Our farm is located a mile away. Thank you, Don

So the donkeys aren't scared of the coyotes?  That's so interesting!

Hi Kelly, The donkeys are not afraid of the coyotes. They will chase a coyote out of the pasture. They will also attack a coyote by striking with both front feet. They donkeys can also protect farm animals from foxes and bobcats.

Very interesting. Give those donkeys a big hand for their bravery. Now I gladly accept the label "Donkey".

I agree the donkeys are interesting and also brave.  It is interesting to watch their interaction with the herd of cattle.
