I love this old song. I've played a lot over the years with this band, especially Hugh Morrison (Scottish box player) ... lookin' forward to playing more with them next yea!

Perhaps the finest cover of this iconic song I've ever had the pleasure to hear. I'm particularly taken by the pickin' and the haunting harmonies. Bravo, Jed, Hugh! Hope you share more with your fellow WG member, Jed, and get Hugh to join us!

Thank you kindly, Gerry!

I love this old song - and I've sung for years. As I listen to this recording today I can't for the life me understand why we decided to drop the second verse .... but we did!

I've enjoyed working with the fine players on this album too - over the years; in particular Scottish born, box-player, Hugh Morrison, my son Jaime, Mason Brown.

Lovely old song. I first heard it on Radio Athlone when I was a boy in the early 1950's. Brings back fond memories. Thank you for this enchanting version.

I remember this song from an old movie  with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I believe the movie was " Rio Grande"  - had Ben Johnson, Harry Carey, Jr,  and old "SGT Quinncannon" >> Did I get it right?>>
