It's a thought-provoking perspective, David. I tend to agree, but perhaps I'm stuck in an old mind-set. Did the monarchy ever apologize for the war crimes perpetrated by the Black and Tans, BTW?

PSNI at the NYC Saint Patrick's day Parade... McGuinness & Higgins having a cuppa & chat with Lizzie... and now this... 

This is how our Patriot dead are honored and remembered? 

The monarchy won't apologise, Ger...They feel that we Irish were more harsh than they ever were... 

after all, they write the History to their good and betterment...not Ireland's.
