Hello Lisa,

I noticed that you posted an inquiry in the chat feature asking for a Munster Speaker. If you were referring to the Munster dialect,I may be of some assistant as I was taught by native speakers from Cork.

Sincerely,

David Joyce

I apologise for taking so long to answer. Yes, I have been learning mixed up Irish, a combination of three or four dialects. I began with Munster because many of my Irish ancestors came from Cork and Tipperary, although others are from Claire and Galway. Munster is musical, and has a pretty sound. All the dialects are understandable, but when I speak to people from other regions here they are correcting my Irish according to how they speak. One person from Donegal and another from Dublin speak a little differently. But I am just beginning.
