It’s a piece of rock with a wonderful beginning.
A cause for marvelling in a right of its own.
Formed deep in the magma of earth.
Mainly composed of quartz, the colour of light
And feldspar carrying the pink of roses.
In its journey to earth’s crust,
The process of crystallization made it unique.
It came my way while walking a country lane.
