An Ghé Ghaelach

Dhá thicéad fillte le buachaint ó Nua Eabhrac go hÉirinn le The Wild Geese.

Beidh deis ag baill de shuíomh oidhreachta agus staire na hÉireann, The Wild Geese, iad féin agus cara a thabhairt go hÉirinn tríd an gcomórtas, Bring a Pal Home.

Don té a spreagann níos mó daoine chun clárú thar sé seachtaine an chomórtais ná aon bhall eile, gheobhaidh siad dhá thicéad fillte ó Nua Eabhrac go Baile Átha Cliath.

Le cur isteach air, níl le déanamh ach clárú agus daoine eile a mhealladh chun clárú chomh maith!

Is féidir le gach ball, idir sean agus nua, cur isteach ar an gcomórtas agus tá an suíomh go hiomlán saor in aisce. Caithfear a bheith lonnaithe i Meiriceá chun an phríomhdhuais a bhuachaint ach tá duaiseanna eile ar fáil do bhuaiteoirí lasmuigh de Mheiriceá. Tá dhá phíosa criostal deartha ag Sean Egan Art Glass go speisialta do The Wild Geese. Bhronn an Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, píosa d’ealaín Shean Egan ar Uachtarán Mheiriceá, Barack Obama, Lá Fhéile Pádraig i mbliana.

Déanann The Wild Geese oidhreacht agus cultúr saibhir na hÉireann a cheiliúradh ag clúdach idir nuacht reatha agus pearsana stairiúla. Tá an líonra sóisialta ag dul ó neart go neart sna sé mhí ó bhunaíodh é leis na céadta ailt agus breis is 1,300 grianghraif foilsithe againn. Is féidir le daoine atá cláraithe linn ailt agus grianghraif a fhoilsiú, páirt a ghlacadh i gcomhráite ar an suíomh, grúpaí a chruthú agus nascadh le comhphobal ar spéis leo cultúr, stair agus oidhreacht na hÉireann.

Déanaimid brandaí agus táirgí Éireannacha ar ardchaighdeán a chur chun cinn freisin tríd The Wild Geese Heritage Partnership. I measc na mbrandaí atá ag déanamh urraíochta ar Bring a Pal Home tá, CIE Tours, Tourism Ireland, The Certificate of Irish Heritage, Derek Warfield and The Young Wolfe Tones, Father Sean McManus, Cló Iar-Chonnacht, agus go leor eile!

Two round-trip tickets to Ireland will go to the most successful friend-builder for The Wild Geese.

We are looking to our members to spread the good word about The Wild Geese through our initiative called “Bring a Pal Home -- To The Wild Geese, To Ireland.” The most successful recruiter of new members over the six weeks of the campaign will be able to do just that, by earning a pair of free round-trip airline tickets from New York to Dublin, Ireland.

The campaign is open to all members, both current and new, and there is no charge for membership. If the top recruiter for “Bring a Pal Home ...” is a U.S. resident, the top award will be two round-trip tickets to Ireland. Alternate prizes for the most successful membership builders worldwide will be two hand-crafted crystal presentation-pieces, engraved for The Wild Geese by Waterford-based Sean Egan Art Glass (www.SeanEganArtGlass.com). Egan’s work “The Gathering Bowl” was presented to President Barack Obama last St. Patrick’s Day by Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

“With ‘Bring a Pal Home,’ we aim to continue to provide added benefits to our many hard-working, passion-driven members. Each and every day, often with their personal family stories, they help us all better grasp the drama and often real heroism found in the Irish experience ‘wherever green is worn.’ ”

The Wild Geese online community serves not only a growing roster of members and thousands of weekly visitors, but also The Wild Geese Irish Heritage Partners, whose products and services support the community's mission.

“This campaign is a premier example of how our Heritage Partners work with our team and our fellow members to engage Irish culture worldwide. In the weeks ahead, we expect to put a spotlight on each of the partners behind ‘Bring a Pal Home.’ We’ll take a look at their own Irish stories, as we continue to develop new ways to support ‘the Irish brand’ worldwide.”

Sponsors for ‘Bring a Pal Home’  include CIE Tours, Tourism Ireland, The Certificate of Irish Heritage, Derek Warfield and The Young Wolfe Tones, Father Sean McManus, Cló Iar-Chonnacht, and quite a few others!
