I have delved back a little further with my Falloon family and found out my gt gt grandmothers maiden name at last, it only took me about 3 years to find this. I also found my gt gt grandfather's  father as a young man living with his family in Cavan, So I'm now back to 1769 or so with this branch, dare I say I'm very pleased.

As I am going on holiday to Ireland next week I need to find out if there are any exhibitions on in the north either in Belfast or Ballycastle areas where I could find out about the cotton industry in the  1840's as my gt gt grandfather and grandmother worked as a weaver and a veiner in Lurgan.  Does anyone know of anywhere in these places that have  info on this?
